Project Overview
Cronin Enterprises’ Civil Division completed stormwater infrastructure improvements at Dormont Park for the Borough of Dormont, delivering a fully integrated underground drainage system within an active public park environment. The project scope included installation of storm sewer piping, underground water detention system, catch basins, an outlet structure, connection to the existing storm sewer system, and all necessary appurtenances and site restoration.
Working within a public park setting required heightened coordination and site security to protect both the public and the integrity of ongoing construction. Our team executed the work with minimal disruption to park users while maintaining schedule and meeting all municipal requirements.
Our team of experts maintained a safe and secure worksite within an active public park, constructing new sidewalks as part of the overall site restoration, and executed large-scale excavation operations for the installation of the new underground water storage system.
Backed by experienced crews, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture, the project was delivered efficiently and in full compliance with all engineering and Borough requirements.
