Pine Township
Pond Maintenance
Client: Pine Township
Service: Excavation, Stormwater, Landscaping
Location: Pine Twp, PA
Project Overview
Cronin Civil and Rail completed stormwater pond maintenance for the Township of Pine, restoring two existing detention ponds to full operational capacity. The project scope included excavation and export of approximately 5,000 CY of accumulated sediment, regrading of both ponds to increase storage volume, installation of approximately 500 LF of 6″ underdrain, erosion repair utilizing geotextile fabrics and rip rap, and full pond restoration with hydroseed and erosion control blanket.
Restoring aging stormwater infrastructure requires equal parts precision and practicality. Our team cleared years of built-up sediment to bring the drainage system back to design capacity, executed precise underdrain installation to ensure proper long-term function, and re-established vegetative cover throughout the pond areas to stabilize slopes and prevent future erosion.
Backed by experienced crews, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture, the project was delivered efficiently and in full compliance with all engineering and municipal requirements.
