Erie East Bayfront
Greenway Trail (Phase 1)
Client: Redevelopment Authority of the City of Erie
Service: Residential Site Development
Location: E 6th Street, Erie PA
Project Overview
Cronin Enterprises’ Civil Division completed Phase 1 of the Erie East Bayfront Greenway Trail for the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Erie, delivering a fully improved public corridor along E 6th Street. The project scope included selective demolition, earthwork, concrete and decorative paver sidewalk installation, electrical work, installation of site amenities including benches, trash receptacles, bicycle racks, and decorative fencing, water service line installation, lawn restoration, and landscaping with various trees and shrubs. The project also incorporated alternate sections featuring a leaf shade structure and landscape forms.
Executing this project through harsh winter conditions required adaptability and a committed crew to keep the work moving without sacrificing quality. Our team pushed through the elements to deliver precise decorative paver installation that enhances the aesthetic of the corridor, while completing all landscaping and planting work to spec, leaving a finished greenway the community can take pride in.
Backed by experienced crews, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture, the project was delivered efficiently and in full compliance with all engineering and municipal requirements.
