Public Steps &
Walkway Improvements
Client: Borough of Forest Hills
Service: Residential Site Development
Location: Forest Hills, PA
Project Overview
Cronin Enterprises’ Civil Division completed public steps and walkway improvements for the Borough of Forest Hills, delivering modernized pedestrian infrastructure across a challenging site. The project scope included demolition of existing concrete and asphalt walkways, installation of new concrete and asphalt walkways, concrete stairs with bicycle runnels and handrails, lawn restoration, and all necessary appurtenances.
Working through varied terrain and in close proximity to private residential property lines required precise execution and proactive communication with neighboring homeowners. Our team maintained strict alignment and elevations across challenging grades, worked directly with adjacent residents to address concerns at the property boundaries, and ultimately delivered upgraded, accessible walkways the Borough and its community can rely on for years to come.
Backed by experienced crews, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture, the project was delivered efficiently and in full compliance with all engineering and Borough requirements.
