Project Overview

Cronin Enterprises’ Civil Division completed a large-scale stormwater infrastructure upgrade, delivering significant drainage improvements across an active roadway corridor. The project scope included installation of approximately 3,000 LF of new 12″–48″ HDPE, RCP, and HP HDPE stormwater pipe, 16 manholes, 12 inlets, and three precast concrete underground stormwater detention systems (each approximately 2,500 CF). Additional work included excavation and installation of a new retention pond with inlet/outlet structures and associated piping, 13,000 CY of spoil haul-off, 13,000 SY of roadway milling and overlay, 600 LF of bituminous wedge curb, roadway base repair, and full right-of-way restoration using hydroseed and mushroom compost.

Operating within a live roadway environment with adjacent residents and active traffic management demands, our team coordinated closely with municipal stakeholders and property owners to maintain schedule, minimize disruption, and deliver a fully integrated stormwater system built for long-term performance.

Achievements defining this project include successfully installing an underground storage structure during a planned road closure, coordinating directly with residents to facilitate storm pipe installation on private property, and executing the new retention pond construction with seamless tie-in to the upgraded storm piping network.

Backed by experienced crews, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture, the project was completed efficiently and in full compliance with all engineering and municipal requirements.
